It is recommended to change the oil every 8,000 miles or 12,800 kilometers, or once a year, whichever comes first. However, if you ride in harsh conditions, consider changing it more frequently.
Use a high-quality 10W-30 motorcycle oil that meets the JASO T 903 standard. Make sure it’s suitable for wet clutches.
To adjust the chain tension, place the bike on a center stand, loosen the axle nut, adjust the chain adjusters to achieve 35-45 mm of slack, and retighten the axle nut.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi (250 kPa) for the front tire and 42 psi (290 kPa) for the rear tire when ridden solo.
Check the battery charge, ensure the kill switch is not engaged, inspect the starter motor, and verify the fuel level. If the problem persists, consult a professional mechanic.
Check the coolant level and top it up if necessary. Inspect the radiator for any blockages or damage, and ensure the fan is operational. If overheating continues, seek professional assistance.
Maintain a steady throttle, avoid excessive idling, keep tires inflated to the recommended pressure, and perform regular maintenance such as oil changes and air filter replacements.
Regular maintenance includes oil changes, chain lubrication and tension adjustment, brake inspection, coolant level checks, and tire pressure monitoring.
Remove the seat, unscrew the air filter cover, take out the old air filter, insert the new filter, and secure the cover and seat back in place.
Inspect the throttle cables for any kinks or damage, ensure the air filter is clean, check the fuel quality, and examine the spark plugs for wear or fouling.
