The recommended oil type for the Honda CB300RA 2022 is SAE 10W-30, API service classification SG or higher, JASO T 903 standard MA or higher.
It is recommended to change the oil every 8,000 miles (12,800 kilometers) or at least once a year, whichever comes first.
To adjust the chain tension, first, place the motorcycle on its side stand. Loosen the axle nut and adjust both chain adjusters equally to achieve 1-1.4 inches of slack. Tighten the axle nut to the specified torque.
For winter storage, clean the motorcycle thoroughly, change the oil, fill the fuel tank with stabilized fuel, disconnect the battery, and store the bike in a dry place with a cover.
The correct tire pressure for the Honda CB300RA 2022 is 29 psi for the front tire and 33 psi for the rear tire.
Check the battery charge, ensure the fuel is not stale, inspect the spark plug, and verify that the kill switch is in the correct position. If problems persist, consult a professional mechanic.
Regular maintenance checks include oil level, brake fluid, tire condition and pressure, chain lubrication and tension, and checking for any loose bolts or fasteners.
The Honda CB300RA 2022 has adjustable rear preload. To adjust, use the C-spanner provided in the toolkit to turn the adjuster to the desired preload setting based on the load and riding conditions.
If the motorcycle overheats, stop in a safe location, turn off the engine, allow it to cool, and check the coolant level. If low, refill with the recommended coolant and inspect for leaks.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain proper tire pressure, use recommended fuel, avoid aggressive acceleration, and perform regular maintenance including air filter and spark plug checks.
