It is recommended to change the oil every 4,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first, to ensure optimal engine performance.
Honda recommends using SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 motorcycle oil with a JASO T 903 standard of MA or higher.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, and avoid aggressive acceleration to improve fuel efficiency.
Stop the motorcycle in a safe place, turn off the engine, and allow it to cool down. Check coolant levels and inspect for leaks.
Loosen the axle nut, adjust the tensioners evenly on both sides, ensuring there is 1.2 to 1.6 inches of slack, then retighten the axle nut.
The recommended tire pressure is 29 psi for the front tire and 29 psi for the rear tire.
Check the battery charge, inspect the spark plug, and ensure the fuel is not stale. Make sure the kill switch is in the 'run' position.
Regular maintenance includes oil and filter changes, checking and adjusting chain tension, inspecting brakes, and checking tire pressure.
Use a motorcycle chain cleaner to clean the chain, then apply a suitable chain lubricant while rotating the rear wheel for even distribution.
Check for loose bolts, inspect tire balance, ensure proper chain tension, and examine the suspension components for wear.
