The recommended engine oil for the 2023 Honda CB300R is SAE 10W-30, API SG or higher, JASO T 903 standard MA.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 4,000 miles (6,400 km) or at least once a year, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure for the CB300R is 29 psi (200 kPa) for the front tire and 33 psi (225 kPa) for the rear tire.
First, check the battery charge and connections. Ensure the engine kill switch is in the 'Run' position and the fuel valve is open. If the problem persists, consult a Honda service technician.
If the engine overheats, safely pull over and turn off the motorcycle. Allow the engine to cool and check the coolant level. If low, refill with a 50/50 mixture of water and antifreeze.
Use a motorcycle-specific chain cleaner to remove dirt and grime. Once clean, apply a high-quality chain lubricant evenly while rotating the rear wheel.
During the first 300 miles (500 km), avoid full throttle starts and do not exceed 5,000 RPM. Gradually increase speed and engine RPM for the next 600 miles (1,000 km).
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, avoid aggressive acceleration, and reduce idling time to improve fuel efficiency.
To adjust the headlight beam, locate the adjuster screws behind the headlight assembly. Turn the screws to raise or lower the beam to the desired position.
Check the brake fluid level and ensure there are no leaks in the brake lines. Bleed the brake system to remove any air bubbles that may cause the spongy feeling.
