To break in the engine, keep the engine RPM below 4000 for the first 500 kilometers. Gradually increase the RPM after this period for the next 500 kilometers. Avoid full-throttle starts and hard stops. This ensures optimal performance and longevity of the engine.
The recommended tire pressure is 25 psi for the front tire and 30 psi for the rear tire. Adjust accordingly if you're carrying extra load or riding in different conditions.
It's recommended to change the engine oil every 3000 kilometers or as specified in the owner's manual under regular maintenance intervals. Use the recommended grade of oil for best performance.
Use a high-quality ethylene glycol-based coolant with anti-corrosion properties. Always ensure the coolant is mixed with distilled water at the correct ratio as specified in the owner's manual.
First, check the battery for sufficient charge. Ensure the fuel valve is open and there's enough fuel in the tank. Inspect the spark plug for wear or fouling. If the issue persists, consult a professional mechanic.
Check the brake fluid level and top up if necessary. Inspect the brake lines for leaks or air bubbles. Bleeding the brakes might be required to remove air from the system. If the problem continues, seek professional assistance.
Regularly clean and lubricate the chain every 500 kilometers or after riding in wet or dusty conditions. Adjust the chain tension to the specifications in the manual to prevent premature wear.
Valve clearance should be checked every 6000 kilometers. Incorrect valve clearances can affect engine performance and cause damage, so it’s crucial to maintain them as per the manufacturer's guidelines.
Maintain steady speeds and avoid rapid acceleration. Ensure regular maintenance like timely oil changes, clean air filters, and correct tire pressure. Reduced weight and proper gear shifts also contribute to better fuel efficiency.
Stop the motorcycle in a safe location and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down before checking the coolant level. Inspect for leaks or blockages in the cooling system. If the problem persists, consult a professional mechanic.
