Hero GLAMOUR XTEC 2023 Owner's Manual

To properly break in your new Hero GLAMOUR XTEC 2023, avoid high speeds and rapid acceleration for the first 500 km. Gradually increase speed and engine RPM to ensure all components settle correctly.
The recommended tire pressure for the Hero GLAMOUR XTEC 2023 is 25 psi for the front tire and 30 psi for the rear tire. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
It is recommended to change the engine oil every 3,000 km or every 6 months, whichever comes first, to maintain optimal engine performance.
The Hero GLAMOUR XTEC 2023 is designed to run on unleaded petrol with an octane rating of 91 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends with more than 10% ethanol content.
If the motorcycle won't start, check the battery charge, ensure the fuel valve is open, inspect the spark plug for wear, and verify that the engine kill switch is in the 'ON' position.
To adjust the chain tension, place the motorcycle on the center stand, loosen the rear axle nut, and turn the chain adjuster bolts on both sides equally until the desired tension is achieved. Ensure the chain has about 25-30 mm of slack.
If the engine overheats, stop the motorcycle and let it cool down. Check the coolant level if applicable, and ensure there is no debris blocking the air vents. If the problem persists, consult a service professional.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the air filter, and clean it using compressed air or wash it with a mild detergent. Ensure it is completely dry before reinstalling. Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively dirty.
To store the motorcycle, clean it thoroughly, change the oil, fill the fuel tank with a stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and keep it covered in a dry, cool place. Lift the tires off the ground if possible to prevent flat spots.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, avoid rapid acceleration, and ride at a steady speed. Also, ensure the air filter and spark plug are clean and in good condition.
