To clean the burners, ensure the hob is turned off and cool. Remove the burner parts and soak them in warm, soapy water. Use a non-abrasive sponge to clean any residue, rinse with clean water, and dry thoroughly before reassembling.
Check if there is a power supply issue by ensuring the hob is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Clean the ignition ports with a toothbrush to remove debris. If the problem persists, consult a technician.
Use cookware with smooth bottoms and avoid dragging pots across the hob surface. Clean spills immediately to prevent residue build-up, which can cause scratches.
Use flat-bottomed pots and pans that conduct heat evenly. Stainless steel, cast iron, and heavy-duty aluminum are suitable choices. Avoid using glass or ceramic cookware.
Use the control knobs to adjust the flame size. Turn the knob to the left for a higher flame and to the right for a lower flame. Ensure the flame is stable and blue in color for optimal performance.
Allow the hob to cool and use a hob scraper to gently remove burnt food. For tougher stains, apply a hob cleaner, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe with a damp cloth.
It's recommended to have your hob serviced annually by a qualified technician to ensure it operates safely and efficiently. Regular maintenance can prevent potential issues.
Immediately turn off the gas supply, ventilate the area, and avoid using electrical devices. Contact a professional technician to inspect and repair any potential leaks.
It's not recommended to use aluminum foil on the burners as it can restrict airflow and cause overheating. Use burner liners specifically designed for gas hobs if needed.
Ensure the hob is plugged in and the gas supply is on. Push the burner control knob in and turn it to the ignition symbol, hold it until the burner lights, then release and adjust to the desired flame size.
