To adjust the temperature settings, locate the temperature control dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to decrease the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the temperature settings are correctly adjusted. Clean the condenser coils and check if the door seals are airtight.
The Gorenje RBI4121E1UK is equipped with an automatic defrost feature. However, if ice builds up excessively, manually defrost the freezer by unplugging the refrigerator and allowing the ice to melt.
Use a soft cloth and a mixture of mild detergent and warm water to clean the interior and exterior surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
Ensure the refrigerator is level and on a stable surface. Check that it is not in contact with the wall or any other objects. Verify that items inside the refrigerator are not vibrating against each other.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Clean the drain hole located at the back of the refrigerator with a pipe cleaner or a similar tool to ensure it is clear.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light bulb cover inside the refrigerator, remove it by gently pressing or unscrewing, and replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage.
Check for obstructions in the door seal or items inside the refrigerator that may prevent closing. Ensure the refrigerator is level and adjust the door hinges if necessary.
Ensure the refrigerator is placed away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep the coils clean and the door seals intact. Avoid opening the door frequently or for extended periods.
Clicking noises can be normal, caused by the compressor cycling on and off. If the noise is frequent or loud, check if the refrigerator is level and ensure nothing is vibrating against it.
