To clean the hob, ensure it is switched off and cooled down. Use a soft cloth with a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or sharp objects that could scratch the surface.
Check if the hob is properly connected to the power supply. Verify that the circuit breaker is not tripped, and ensure that the control lock is not activated.
To unlock the control panel, press and hold the lock button for a few seconds until the indicator light turns off.
A clicking noise is normal when using induction hobs, as it is related to the power regulation. However, ensure that the pan is suitable for induction cooking.
Use flat-bottomed, induction-compatible cookware. Check for the induction symbol on the cookware or test with a magnet; if it sticks, it's suitable.
Ensure the cookware is centered on the cooking zone and matches its size. Use lids to cover pots and pans to retain heat.
Error code E2 indicates overheating. Allow the hob to cool down before using it again. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
Avoid using aluminum foil on the hob, as it can melt and damage the surface. It is not suitable for induction cooking.
To activate the child lock, press the lock button until the indicator light turns on. This will disable the controls until unlocked.
Ensure the pan is induction-compatible and flat-bottomed. Check that the pan's size corresponds to the cooking zone. Try repositioning the pan within the zone.
