To update the firmware on the Fujifilm GFX50S II, first download the latest firmware version from the Fujifilm website. Copy the firmware file to an SD card formatted in the camera, insert the card into the camera, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
For sensor cleaning, use a blower to remove loose dust particles. If necessary, use a sensor cleaning kit with swabs and cleaning solution specifically designed for medium format sensors. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
To improve battery life, reduce the use of the LCD screen and EVF, turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use, use the camera's power save mode, and carry spare batteries for extended shooting sessions.
To perform a factory reset, go to the Setup Menu, select 'User Setting', and then 'Reset'. Choose 'Factory Reset' to restore the camera to its default settings.
To shoot in RAW, go to the Image Quality Setting menu and select 'Image Quality'. Choose 'RAW' or 'RAW + JPEG' depending on your needs. Ensure your storage card has ample space as RAW files are larger.
If the camera does not turn on, check that the battery is charged and properly inserted. If the issue persists, try a different battery. If it still doesn’t work, contact Fujifilm support for further assistance.
Download and install the Fujifilm Camera Remote app on your smartphone. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the camera, then follow the app's instructions to pair your camera with the smartphone.
The Fujifilm GFX50S II is compatible with GF-mount lenses. Ensure that you are using lenses specifically designed for the GFX medium format system to achieve optimal performance.
To transfer photos, connect the camera to your computer via USB cable, or remove the SD card and use a card reader. You can also use the Fujifilm Camera Remote app for wireless transfers.
To achieve the best image stabilization, ensure the in-body image stabilization (IBIS) is enabled in the menu settings. Use a tripod for additional stability when needed, especially in low-light conditions.
