To turn on the GPS function, press the GPS button on the camera’s side. Ensure that you are outdoors for better satellite reception. The GPS icon will appear on the screen when the connection is established.
Use a microfiber cloth to gently wipe the lens in a circular motion. Avoid using rough materials or excessive force to prevent scratches. For stubborn spots, use a lens cleaning solution.
Connect the camera to your computer using a USB cable. Turn on the camera, and it should appear as a removable drive. You can then drag and drop the photos to your desired location on the computer.
Ensure the battery is correctly inserted into the charger. Check the power outlet and try a different one. If the battery still does not charge, it may need replacement.
Go to the Setup menu, select ‘Reset,’ and confirm your choice. This will restore all settings to their original defaults.
Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions. Check that the camera is set to the correct focus mode. If the problem persists, try resetting the camera settings.
Reduce the LCD brightness, disable the GPS when not needed, and turn off the camera when not in use. Consider carrying a spare battery for extended use.
Visit the Fujifilm website to download the latest firmware. Copy the firmware file to the memory card, insert it into the camera, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Keep the camera in a sealed bag with silica gel packets when not in use. Allow it to acclimate to the temperature gradually before using it in humid conditions.
Check that the battery is charged and properly inserted. Try using a different battery if available. If the camera still does not turn on, it may require professional service.
