To transfer photos, connect the camera to your computer using a USB cable. Turn the camera on, and your computer should recognize it as a removable drive. You can then drag and drop files from the camera to your computer. Alternatively, you can use an SD card reader.
First, ensure that the battery is charged. If the camera still doesn't turn on, remove the battery and memory card, wait a few minutes, and then reinsert them. If the issue persists, consider replacing the battery or consulting Fujifilm support.
Ensure all covers and battery compartments are securely closed. Inspect the rubber seals for damage or dirt, and clean them if necessary. Perform a waterproof test without the camera submerged in water before actual underwater use.
Press the MENU/OK button, navigate to the Shooting Mode menu, and select Continuous Shooting. Choose the desired speed and press OK to confirm. The camera will now take multiple shots with one press of the shutter button.
To clean the lens, use a soft, lint-free cloth or a dedicated lens cleaning tissue. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion to remove fingerprints or smudges.
Visit the Fujifilm website and download the latest firmware for the XP120. Follow the provided instructions, which typically involve copying the firmware file to an SD card and updating the camera via the setup menu.
Check if the lens is clean and ensure the camera is set to the correct focus mode. Use a tripod to stabilize the camera and increase the shutter speed if necessary. If the issue persists, reset the camera settings to default.
To extend battery life, use the camera's power-saving mode, reduce the LCD screen brightness, and turn off Wi-Fi when not in use. Also, avoid using the flash unnecessarily and keep spare batteries on hand.
Press the MENU/OK button, navigate to the Image Quality menu, and select the desired resolution. Options typically include different megapixel settings. Confirm your selection by pressing OK.
Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Remove the battery if the camera will not be used for an extended period. Use a camera case to protect it from dust and physical damage.
