To adjust the temperature settings, locate the temperature control dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to raise it. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize after adjustments.
Ensure the refrigerator is plugged in and the temperature is set correctly. Check for any obstructions in the vents or door seals. Clean the condenser coils if they are dirty, and ensure there is adequate clearance around the unit for proper airflow.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils at least twice a year to maintain optimal performance. Use a vacuum or a soft brush to remove dust and debris.
Store perishable items in the main compartment and avoid overcrowding to ensure proper airflow. Use the crisper drawers for fruits and vegetables and keep dairy and eggs in the colder areas of the fridge.
To change the light bulb, first unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, remove it, and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Some noises are normal, such as humming or clicking. However, if you hear loud or unusual sounds, check if the refrigerator is level and ensure it is not touching any surrounding objects. Inspect the fan and motor for obstructions or damage.
To defrost the freezer, remove all items and unplug the unit. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Place towels or a container to catch water. Once defrosted, clean the interior and restart the refrigerator.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Clear any debris from the drain hole located at the back of the refrigerator compartment. Use a mixture of warm water and vinegar to flush the drain if necessary.
Check the door seals for any cracks or damage. To test the seal, close the door on a piece of paper. If you can easily pull it out, the seal may need to be cleaned or replaced. Clean the seals with mild detergent and warm water.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and connected to the water supply. Check for any ice blockages in the chute. Inspect the water filter for clogs and replace it if necessary. If the problem persists, consider contacting a professional technician.
