To calibrate the RH101 Meter, use a standard humidity calibration kit. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, ensuring that the sensor is exposed to a stable environment for accurate readings. Calibration should be performed at least once a year.
First, check the battery compartment to ensure the batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge. If the issue persists, inspect the battery contacts for corrosion and clean if necessary.
The RH101 Meter automatically measures both temperature and humidity. Simply power on the device, and the display will show both readings simultaneously.
Store the RH101 Meter in a cool, dry place without exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity. Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
Ensure the sensor is clean and not obstructed. Re-calibrate the device as necessary. Check for any environmental factors that could affect readings, such as direct sunlight or drafts.
The RH101 Meter is designed primarily for indoor use. If using it outdoors, avoid exposure to direct water contact and extreme weather conditions.
Regularly check and clean the sensor with a soft brush to remove dust and debris. Perform calibration checks periodically to ensure accuracy. Store properly when not in use.
To replace the batteries, slide open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device. Replace the old batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.
Common error messages include "Err" indicating a measurement error. Re-calibrate the device or replace the batteries to resolve this issue. Check the user manual for a complete list of error messages.
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the meter. Avoid using solvents or harsh chemicals. Carefully clean the sensor area with a soft brush to prevent damage.
