To turn on the Fagor IF-ZONE90S Hob, ensure the unit is plugged in and the power supply is on. Press the power button located on the control panel and select the desired cooking zone by pressing the corresponding button. Adjust the heat setting using the plus (+) or minus (-) controls.
If the hob is not heating up, first check if the unit is properly connected to the power supply. Ensure that the cooking zone is correctly selected and the heat setting is adjusted. If the problem persists, inspect the circuit breaker and reset it if necessary. If none of these steps work, contact Fagor customer service for further assistance.
To clean the hob, first ensure it is switched off and completely cool. Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild detergent to wipe the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads, as they can damage the glass surface. For stubborn stains, use a specialized ceramic hob cleaner.
The Fagor IF-ZONE90S Hob is compatible with cookware that has a flat base and is magnetic, such as cast iron or stainless steel. To check compatibility, see if a magnet sticks to the bottom of your cookware. Avoid using glass, ceramic, or aluminum pans that do not have a magnetic base.
To lock the controls on the Fagor IF-ZONE90S Hob, press and hold the lock button on the control panel until you see a lock symbol appear on the display. This feature prevents any changes to the settings until the control lock is deactivated by holding the lock button again.
The error code "E2" indicates overheating in the selected cooking zone. To resolve this, turn off the hob and allow it to cool down. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance and avoid using cookware that completely covers the ventilation area.
To activate the booster function, first select the cooking zone you wish to boost. Then, press the booster button on the control panel. The display will show a "P" indicating the booster is active, providing maximum power to the selected zone for rapid heating.
Induction hobs like the Fagor IF-ZONE90S generate electromagnetic fields that can potentially interfere with pacemakers. If you have a pacemaker, consult with your doctor or the pacemaker manufacturer before using the hob to ensure safety.
To set the timer, first select the cooking zone you want to time. Press the timer button and use the plus (+) or minus (-) controls to set the desired time. The timer will count down, and the hob will automatically turn off the selected zone when the time elapses.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the hob after each use to prevent buildup of residues. Periodically check the ventilation areas for blockages and ensure that the power cable is in good condition. Avoid using the hob as a chopping board or placing heavy items on it to prevent damage.
