To clean the Dimplex DXAD100, first unplug the unit. Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior and the water tank. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.
It is recommended to use distilled or filtered water to prevent mineral build-up and ensure optimal performance.
The Dimplex DXAD100 does not require a replaceable filter. However, regular cleaning as per the manual is essential to maintain efficiency.
If the diffuser is not misting properly, check whether the water tank is filled and correctly seated. Clean the device as mineral deposits can block misting. Make sure the unit is on a flat surface and not obstructed.
The Dimplex DXAD100 is designed for water diffusion only. Usage of essential oils can damage the unit and is not recommended.
The run time on a full tank can vary, but typically the DXAD100 can operate for approximately 8 to 10 hours depending on the mist setting.
A weekly cleaning routine is recommended. This includes emptying and drying the water tank, cleaning the ultrasonic plate, and ensuring the unit is free from any dust or debris.
Unusual noises may be due to low water levels or mineral build-up. Ensure the water tank is full and clean any deposits. Check that the unit is positioned on a stable surface.
Ensure the unit is plugged in and the outlet is functioning. Check the power cable for damage. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support for further assistance.
The DXAD100 is suitable for small to medium-sized rooms. For larger spaces, consider using multiple units or a diffuser designed for larger areas.
