To reset the Denon AVR-2308CI to factory settings, press and hold the "Power" button while simultaneously pressing the "Speaker A" and "Speaker B" buttons on the front panel. Release all buttons when the display starts flashing.
Ensure that the correct input source is selected and that the speakers are properly connected. Check the volume level, and make sure the "Mute" function is not activated. Also, verify that the speaker settings are correctly configured in the setup menu.
The AVR-2308CI does not support direct firmware updates via USB or network. Firmware updates must be performed by an authorized Denon service center.
