To descale the DeLonghi EC9335.M, fill the water tank with a descaling solution and water, place a container under the steam nozzle, and follow the machine's descaling program as outlined in the manual.
Ensure that the machine is properly preheated before brewing. You can also pre-warm your cup and ensure the steam wand is purged to remove any cold water.
After each use, purge the steam wand by letting steam out for a few seconds, then wipe it with a damp cloth. Perform a deeper clean by soaking the tip in warm water if necessary.
Loud noises can be due to a clogged grinder or pump. Ensure the grinder is not blocked and that the water tank is full and properly seated.
Adjust the grind size using the grinder adjustment knob, located inside the bean container, while the grinder is running.
Check that the water tank is properly inserted and that there are no cracks. Ensure all parts are assembled correctly and that seals are not damaged.
Use cold milk and a cold frothing pitcher. Adjust the steam pressure and ensure the steam wand is fully cleaned for optimal frothing.
Store coffee beans in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. Avoid storing them in the fridge or freezer to maintain their quality.
To reset the machine, access the menu settings and select the reset option to restore factory settings. Consult the manual for specific instructions.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the drip tray, emptying the coffee grounds container, descaling the machine, and cleaning the steam wand after each use.
