To clean the air filter, turn off the unit and unplug it. Remove the filter from the back of the unit, wash it with warm water and mild detergent, then allow it to dry thoroughly before reinstalling it.
Ensure the air filter is clean, check that the doors and windows are closed, and verify the temperature setting is correct. If the problem persists, inspect the exhaust hose for obstructions.
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently if you reside in a particularly dusty environment.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with your Danby air conditioner as it may not provide sufficient power and could pose a safety hazard.
Check if the unit is tilted properly to allow water to drain. Ensure the drain hose is not blocked and that the water tank is not full.
Press the timer button on the control panel. Use the up and down arrows to set the desired start or stop time, then confirm your selection by pressing the timer button again.
Regularly clean the air filter, inspect the exhaust hose for leaks or obstructions, and ensure the unit is stored properly during off-seasons.
Check if the unit is overheating, ensure the filter is clean, and verify the power supply is stable. The automatic shut-off feature may also activate if the room reaches the set temperature.
Use the mode button on the control panel to cycle through the available options such as cool, fan, and dehumidify. The current mode will be displayed on the screen.
Clean and dry the unit thoroughly, remove and clean the filter, and store the air conditioner in a dry place. Cover it with a cloth to prevent dust accumulation.
