To adjust the temperature, locate the thermostat dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to raise it. Allow 24 hours for the new setting to stabilize.
First, ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set to the desired temperature. Check the door seals for any gaps or damage. Clean the condenser coils at the back of the unit, and ensure that there is sufficient airflow around the appliance.
To defrost, unplug the refrigerator and remove all contents. Leave the door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Place towels at the bottom to absorb water. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
Turn off and unplug the refrigerator. Remove all food and shelves. Use a mixture of mild detergent and warm water to wipe down the interior surfaces. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry with a clean towel before replacing the shelves and food.
It is not recommended to store the refrigerator in unheated areas where temperatures can drop below 50°F (10°C). Extreme temperatures can affect the performance and may cause damage.
Check if the drain hole inside the refrigerator is clogged. Clear any debris using a pipe cleaner or similar tool. Ensure that the refrigerator is level to prevent water from not draining properly.
Clean the condenser coils at least twice a year to ensure efficient operation. More frequent cleaning may be necessary if you have pets that shed hair.
Unusual noises can be caused by the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or the fan hitting an obstruction. Check and adjust the leveling, rearrange items, and ensure no obstructions are present.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Remove the light cover by pressing the tabs on both sides and pulling it down. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Replace the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Store food in airtight containers or wrap them tightly to prevent moisture loss. Place raw meats on the lowest shelf to prevent contamination. Allow space between items for proper air circulation.
