To adjust the temperature, locate the thermostat dial inside the refrigerator. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it. Allow 24 hours for the new temperature to stabilize.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Ensure the door seals are clean and intact. If the problem persists, it may require professional servicing.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to ensure optimal performance. Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove dust and debris.
To defrost, unplug the refrigerator and remove all contents. Leave the door open to allow the ice to melt. Place towels at the base to catch water. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
Ensure the door is closed tightly and the gasket seals are in good condition. Avoid placing hot or warm items inside the refrigerator as they can contribute to ice formation.
Unusual noises can indicate that the refrigerator is not level, or that items inside are vibrating. Check and adjust the leveling feet, and ensure nothing is touching the walls of the unit.
To change the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator and remove the light cover. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
It's not recommended to store the refrigerator in an unheated garage if the temperature drops below freezing or exceeds 110°F, as extreme temperatures can affect its performance.
Use a mixture of warm water and mild detergent to clean the interior. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Wipe down shelves and walls with a soft cloth, and ensure everything is dry before restocking.
Ensure the refrigerator is not placed near heat sources and has adequate ventilation. Keep the door closed as much as possible, and ensure the seals are airtight to maintain energy efficiency.
