To adjust the temperature, locate the temperature control dial inside the refrigerator. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to raise it. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize before making further adjustments.
Ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the power outlet is working. Check the temperature settings and adjust if necessary. Make sure the door is closing properly and not obstructed by items inside. Clean the condenser coils if they are dusty or dirty.
To defrost, unplug the refrigerator and remove all items from the freezer compartment. Leave the door open to allow the ice to melt. Use towels to absorb water as the ice melts. Once defrosted, clean and dry the compartment before plugging the refrigerator back in.
Unusual noises could be due to the refrigerator not being level. Ensure it is on a flat surface and adjust the leveling legs if needed. Also, check for any loose items inside that may be vibrating. Normal operational sounds include humming and occasional clicking.
Unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a mixture of warm water and mild detergent to wipe down the interior surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the interior.
Check the door gasket for dirt or damage. Clean it with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. If the gasket is damaged, it may need to be replaced. Ensure the refrigerator is level so the door aligns properly with the frame.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every six months. This helps maintain energy efficiency and cooling performance. Use a vacuum or a soft brush to remove dust and debris from the coils.
It is best to let hot food cool to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator. Storing hot food can raise the internal temperature, causing the compressor to work harder and potentially leading to uneven cooling.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Check and clear any blockages in the drain hole located at the back of the refrigerator. Ensure that food items are not blocking air vents, which can also cause condensation.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the light cover inside. Remove the cover by gently pressing the release tabs or screws. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same size and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
