To adjust the height, loosen the wing nuts on the legs, slide the extension to the desired height, and then tighten the wing nuts securely. Ensure both stilts are set to the same height for balance.
Check that all nuts and bolts are tightened properly. Inspect the foot straps and leg bands for secure fastening. Make sure the height settings are equal on both stilts.
Regularly inspect the stilts for wear and tear, clean them after use to remove plaster or debris, and lubricate any moving parts with a suitable lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
The maximum weight capacity for these stilts is 225 pounds (approximately 102 kg). Do not exceed this limit to ensure safety.
The stilts are designed for use on flat, level surfaces. Using them on uneven surfaces can cause instability and increase the risk of falls.
Store the stilts in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Ensure that they are clean and dry before storage to prevent corrosion.
Inspect the stilts for any visible damage, ensure all fasteners are tight, check the condition of straps and buckles, and confirm that the height adjustments are secure.
To replace a foot strap, remove the worn strap by unfastening it from the buckle. Attach the new strap by threading it through the buckle and securing it tightly.
While the stilts can be used outdoors, they are best suited for indoor use on smooth surfaces. If used outdoors, ensure the ground is flat and stable.
To walk safely on stilts, take slow, deliberate steps, keeping your legs steady. Practice balancing on the stilts before attempting any complex movements.
