To install the Chicco GoFit Car Seat, place it on the vehicle seat and use the integrated LATCH connectors for a secure fit. Make sure the seat is flush against the vehicle seat back and the seat belt is properly adjusted for your child.
The Chicco GoFit Car Seat is designed for children weighing between 40-100 lbs (18-45 kg) and with a height of 38-57 inches (97-145 cm).
The seat pad of the Chicco GoFit Car Seat is removable and machine-washable. Use cold water on a delicate cycle and line dry. The plastic parts can be wiped with a damp cloth.
Ensure the armrests are at the correct height for your child and the seat belt is positioned comfortably across the shoulder and lap. Adjust the backrest to ensure proper support.
Ensure the connectors are aligned properly with the vehicle's LATCH anchors, and press firmly to attach. If necessary, consult your vehicle's manual for guidance on LATCH anchor locations.
The Chicco GoFit Car Seat is compatible with most vehicles, but it is always recommended to check your vehicle's manual to ensure compatibility with booster seats.
Ensure the seat belt lies flat across the child's shoulder and chest, not the neck, and the lap belt is low on the hips, not the stomach. Use the belt guides if necessary.
If the seat cover is worn or damaged, contact Chicco customer service for replacement options. Do not use the seat without a proper cover.
Regularly inspect the car seat for any signs of damage or wear, particularly after cleaning or after an accident. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
The Chicco GoFit Car Seat is not certified for use on aircraft, as booster seats require a lap and shoulder belt, which are not available on most airplanes.
