To set the desired temperature, use the remote control or the unit's control panel. Press the 'Temp' button to increase or decrease the temperature to your preference.
Ensure that the air filters are clean and the vents are not blocked. Check that doors and windows are closed and the unit is set to the correct mode.
Clean the air filters every two weeks to ensure optimal performance. More frequent cleaning may be necessary in dusty environments.
Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 5 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
Use the mode button on the remote control or control panel to switch between cooling and heating modes. The display will show the current mode.
Before each season, clean the air filters, check the outdoor unit for debris, and ensure all electrical connections are secure.
Water leakage may be caused by a clogged drain pipe or a blocked air filter. Check and clean these components to resolve the issue.
Use the fan speed button on the remote control to cycle through the available speeds: low, medium, high, and auto.
Check the batteries in the remote control and replace them if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit.
Regular maintenance, such as cleaning filters, sealing leaks in windows and doors, and using the energy-saving mode can improve efficiency.
