To change the temperature settings, use the control panel located inside the refrigerator. Press the temperature button until you reach the desired setting. The display will show the current temperature setting.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the door is fully closed and the seal is intact. Check the temperature settings and make sure the vents inside the fridge are not blocked. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact customer service.
The Caple RIL891 features a frost-free design, so manual defrosting is not required. However, if you notice frost buildup, ensure the door seals are functioning properly and that the door is closing completely.
To clean the interior, unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a soft cloth and a solution of mild detergent and warm water to wipe down the surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft towel before replacing the food items.
Store raw meat and seafood in the bottom shelf to prevent cross-contamination. Use airtight containers for leftovers. Keep fruits and vegetables in designated crisper drawers, and ensure the door is not overloaded to allow proper air circulation.
If the alarm sounds, check that the doors are closed and the temperature is set correctly. To reset the alarm, press the alarm button on the control panel. If the alarm continues, consult the manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Water pooling could be due to a blocked defrost drain. Clear any blockages in the drain by using a pipe cleaner or a similar tool. Ensure the refrigerator is level and that the door seals are functioning properly to prevent excess moisture.
To replace the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator and locate the bulb cover inside. Remove the cover by twisting it counterclockwise. Replace the old bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Check if the refrigerator is level and ensure it is not in contact with walls or cabinets. Verify that items inside are not vibrating against each other. If the noise continues, it may be a sign of a mechanical issue, and you should contact a service technician.
Ensure the refrigerator is placed away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep the coils clean and maintain a consistent temperature setting. Avoid frequent door openings and ensure the door seals are intact to prevent cold air from escaping.
