To turn on the Caple C705G Hob, press the power button located on the control panel. Select the desired burner and adjust the heat level using the control knob.
Ensure that the hob is connected to a power source and the gas supply is turned on. Check if the burner caps are properly in place and clean any debris from the igniter. If the issue persists, contact a professional technician.
Allow the hob to cool down completely. Use a damp cloth with mild detergent to wipe the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or pads. For burner parts, remove and soak them in warm soapy water, then scrub gently.
Press and hold the lock button on the control panel until an indicator light appears. This will disable the controls until the lock is deactivated.
Use flat-bottomed cookware made of materials such as stainless steel, cast iron, or aluminum. Ensure the base is smooth to maximize contact with the hob surface for efficient heating.
A clicking noise usually indicates the igniters are trying to light the burners. If this occurs when the burners are off, it may be due to moisture in the ignition switches. Allow them to dry or consult a technician if the issue continues.
To adjust the flame, use the control knobs to increase or decrease the gas flow to the burners. Make sure the flame is stable and blue, adjusting the air shutter if necessary to achieve optimal combustion.
Check if the hob is properly connected to the power supply. Try resetting the hob by turning off the circuit breaker for a few minutes and then turning it back on. If the problem persists, seek professional assistance.
Always supervise the hob while in use. Keep flammable materials away from the burners and ensure the area is well-ventilated. Use the control lock feature when the hob is not in use to prevent accidental operation.
A yellow flame may indicate incomplete combustion or a blockage. Check for obstructions in the burner ports and clean them if necessary. If the issue persists, adjust the air-to-gas ratio by consulting the manual or contacting a technician.
