To set the temperature, use the control panel located inside the refrigerator. Adjust the temperature by pressing the up or down arrows. The recommended setting for the fridge is 3-5°C.
Check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the door is closed tightly. Ensure that the vents are not blocked by food items and that the temperature settings are correct. If the problem persists, consider contacting Caple customer service for assistance.
The Caple RI5505 is a frost-free refrigerator, so manual defrosting is not necessary. The automatic defrost system will manage ice build-up.
To clean the interior, unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a solution of mild soap and warm water to wipe down the surfaces. Avoid using abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly before plugging the refrigerator back in.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, remove it, and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, then replace the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Water pooling can occur due to a blocked defrost drain. Check the drain located at the back of the refrigerator and clear any obstructions using a pipe cleaner or warm water.
To change the door swing direction, remove the top hinge cover and unscrew the hinges. Lift the door off and reattach the hinges on the opposite side of the fridge. Make sure all screws are tightened and the door is aligned before closing.
Ensure the refrigerator is level and not touching the wall or cabinets. Check for loose items in the fridge. If the noise persists, inspect the condenser fan and evaporator fan for obstructions or damage.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources and ensure there is adequate ventilation around it. Regularly clean the condenser coils and check door seals for air leaks. Keeping the fridge full also helps maintain temperature stability.
First, try resetting the refrigerator by unplugging it for 5 minutes, then plugging it back in. If the control panel is still unresponsive, check for any error codes and consult the user manual or contact Caple customer support.
