To start a wash cycle, load the dishwasher, add detergent, select your desired program using the program selector button, and press the start button. Make sure the door is securely closed for the cycle to begin.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Also, ensure that the filter and sump area are clean. If the problem persists, inspect the waste pipe connection for blockages.
Remove the lower rack and locate the filter assembly at the bottom of the dishwasher. Twist the filter counterclockwise and lift it out. Rinse it under running water to remove debris and reassemble it by placing it back and twisting clockwise.
Spots on glassware are often due to hard water. Use a rinse aid to improve drying and reduce spotting. Make sure the dishwasher has enough salt if your model requires it. Adjusting the water softener settings might also help.
To reset the dishwasher, turn it off and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. This can often resolve minor issues.
Regularly clean the filter, check the spray arms for blockages, and wipe down the door seals. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to remove limescale and grease buildup.
Ensure that the spray arms can rotate freely and are not clogged. Make sure dishes are loaded correctly, not blocking the detergent dispenser. Check that the water temperature is hot enough for effective cleaning.
Unusual noises may be caused by items in the dishwasher touching each other. Ensure that the spray arms are not hitting any dishes. Also, check for any foreign objects in the pump or filter area.
To adjust the height of the upper rack, empty the rack, then lift it to the desired position or lower it by pulling on the levers on each side of the rack. This allows more space for larger items in the lower rack.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code meaning. Common solutions include checking water supply, ensuring filters are clean, and resetting the dishwasher. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
