To reset the Caple DI641 dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the display shows a reset message or the lights flash. This will cancel the current cycle and reset the dishwasher.
Check the filter and drain hose for any blockages. Ensure that the drain hose is not kinked and is installed at the correct height. Clean the filter if necessary.
Remove the spray arms by unscrewing them from the dishwasher. Rinse them under running water and use a toothpick or small brush to remove any debris from the holes. Reattach the spray arms securely after cleaning.
Error code E4 indicates a water overflow issue. Turn off the dishwasher and check for any leaks or excessive water in the base. Ensure that the dishwasher is level and not overfilled with detergent.
It is recommended to clean the filter every month to ensure optimal performance and prevent blockages. More frequent cleaning may be necessary if you use the dishwasher frequently.
Residue may be caused by using too much or too little detergent, hard water, or blocked spray arms. Try adjusting the detergent quantity, using a rinse aid, and cleaning the spray arms and filters.
While the dishwasher may still function without the heating element, it will not effectively dry the dishes or sanitize them. It is recommended to repair or replace the heating element for optimal performance.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Smaller items and delicate glassware should go on the top rack. Avoid overcrowding to allow water to circulate properly.
Use a high-quality, automatic dishwasher detergent in powder, gel, or tablet form. Avoid using hand dishwashing liquid as it can cause excessive suds and damage the appliance.
Unusual noises can be caused by items touching or blocking the spray arms. Check that the dishes are loaded correctly and that nothing is obstructing the spray arms. Additionally, inspect for loose parts or debris in the filter.
