To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to set your desired temperature. The recommended setting is between 3°C and 5°C.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the temperature setting is correct, and the vents are not blocked. If the issue persists, contact Caple customer support for further assistance.
The CAFF207BK is a frost-free model, so manual defrosting is not necessary. However, if frost builds up, check the door seals and ensure the door is closing properly.
To change the interior light bulb, unplug the refrigerator and remove the light cover. Replace the bulb with a new bulb of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils every six months, checking the door seals for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerator is level to prevent door alignment issues.
Ensure the refrigerator is level and not touching the wall or other appliances. Check that the shelves and drawers are properly placed. If the noise persists, it might be due to the compressor or fan, and a technician should be consulted.
Check if the ice maker is turned on and the water supply line is connected and not kinked. Ensure the freezer temperature is set correctly. If the problem continues, the water filter might need replacement.
To clean the water dispenser, turn off the water supply and remove the dispenser tray. Clean the tray and the dispensing area with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reassembling.
Ensure that nothing inside the fridge is blocking the door. Check the door seals for damage or dirt and clean them if necessary. Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the fridge is not tilted.
After a power outage, simply unplug the refrigerator for a few minutes and then plug it back in. Check the control panel to ensure the settings have been retained or adjust them as needed.
