To turn on the Caple C994i Hob, press the power button located on the control panel. Select the desired cooking zone and adjust the heat setting using the touch controls.
Ensure that the correct cooking zone is selected and that the pan being used is induction-compatible. If the problem persists, check the power supply or consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
The error code "E2" typically indicates overheating. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation and that the cooling fan is not obstructed. Allow the hob to cool down before attempting to use it again.
To lock the controls, press and hold the lock button until the lock indicator appears on the display. To unlock, repeat the process until the indicator disappears.
Regularly clean the hob surface with a soft cloth and non-abrasive cleaner. Check for any signs of wear on the power cable and ensure the ventilation openings are not blocked. Refer to the manual for specific maintenance instructions.
Select the desired cooking zone and use the plus and minus touch buttons to adjust the power level. The display will show the current power setting.
Use cookware that is induction-compatible, such as pans made of ferrous materials like cast iron or some stainless steels. Check for an induction symbol on the cookware packaging.
The buzzing noise is normal and caused by the electromagnetic field interacting with the metal in the cookware. Using heavier pans may reduce the noise.
To reset the hob, switch off the power supply at the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turn it back on. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Ensure the surface of the hob is clean and dry, as moisture can affect the touch controls. If the problem continues, try resetting the hob or consult the manual for further guidance.
