The Caple C871GBK hob requires a 220-240V power supply with a 32A dedicated circuit. Ensure that installation is performed by a qualified electrician.
Use a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for glass surfaces. Avoid using sharp objects or abrasive pads that could scratch the glass.
Check the power supply and ensure the hob is properly connected. Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped. If the issue persists, contact a qualified service technician.
Press and hold the lock key for a few seconds until the indicator light turns on. This will lock the controls. To unlock, repeat the process until the indicator light turns off.
Use cookware that is ferrous (magnetic) such as cast iron or stainless steel. Avoid using aluminum, copper, or glass cookware as they are not compatible with induction hobs.
A buzzing noise is normal and typically caused by the electromagnetic fields used in induction cooking. It should not be a cause for concern unless it becomes excessively loud or irregular.
Use pots and pans with high sides to prevent spills. If an overflow occurs, promptly clean the liquid to prevent damage to the controls.
Regularly clean the hob, use appropriate cookware, and avoid dragging cookware across the surface. Periodically check for software updates or service advisories from Caple.
To reset the hob, turn off the power at the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turn it back on. If the issue continues, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Induction hobs generate electromagnetic fields that may interfere with pacemakers. Consult your healthcare provider for advice specific to your pacemaker model and health conditions.
