Caple C864l Instruction Manual

To turn on your Caple C864i hob, press the power button located on the control panel. Once the hob is powered on, select the desired cooking zone and adjust the heat setting using the plus and minus buttons.
Ensure that the hob is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Check if the cookware is suitable for induction cooking and is placed correctly on the cooking zone. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
To activate the control lock, press and hold the lock button for a few seconds until the lock indicator appears. This will prevent accidental changes to the settings. To unlock, press and hold the lock button again until the indicator disappears.
Some noise is normal when using an induction hob due to the electromagnetic field. However, if the noise is excessive, make sure the cookware is flat and suitable for induction cooking. If the problem continues, contact a service technician.
After ensuring the hob is cool, use a soft damp cloth with mild detergent to wipe the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads as they can scratch the glass. Dry with a clean cloth to prevent streaks.
Error code E2 typically indicates overheating. Allow the hob to cool down before attempting to use it again. Ensure the ventilation is not obstructed and that the cookware is not empty. If the error persists, consult the manual or contact support.
Induction hobs require cookware made of ferrous metals like cast iron or stainless steel with a magnetic base. You can test your cookware with a magnet; if it sticks to the base, it is suitable for induction cooking.
Press the timer button on the control panel, then use the plus and minus buttons to set the desired time. Once set, the timer will count down and automatically turn off the hob when it reaches zero.
Ensure the control panel is clean and dry. If the issue persists, try resetting the hob by turning off the power at the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turning it back on. If the problem continues, contact technical support.
Regular cleaning after each use is recommended to maintain the hob's condition. Have a professional inspect the appliance annually to ensure it's operating safely and efficiently.
