Caple C850I Instruction Manual

To unlock the Caple C850I Hob, press and hold the lock button (usually depicted with a key symbol) for approximately 3 seconds until the lock indicator light turns off.
Ensure the hob is connected to a power source and the circuit breaker is not tripped. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician for further assistance.
Use a soft cloth with mild detergent and warm water to clean the hob. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads as they can scratch the surface.
A clicking noise is normal as the hob's induction coils are switching on and off to maintain temperature. If the noise is excessive, check if the cookware is suitable for induction use.
The hob is compatible with cookware that is magnetic, such as cast iron or stainless steel with a magnetic base. Avoid using glass, copper, or aluminum cookware unless they have a layer that makes them induction-compatible.
To activate the child lock, press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on, indicating that the child lock is active.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code explanation. Common solutions include resetting the hob by turning off the power for a few minutes or checking for obstructions in the vents.
Use cookware with smooth bottoms and avoid dragging them across the hob surface. Regularly clean the hob to remove particles that can cause scratches.
Ensure the pan is induction-compatible and properly centered on the cooking zone. The pan's base should cover at least 70% of the cooking zone for detection.
Use the touch controls to select the desired cooking zone, then adjust the power level by sliding your finger along the power setting scale or pressing the plus/minus buttons.
