To install the Canon MultiPASS MP700 printer drivers on Windows 10, download the latest drivers from the Canon website. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
First, ensure that the printer is connected to your computer and powered on. Check the printer queue for any stalled jobs and clear them. Restart both the printer and your computer. If the issue persists, reinstall the printer drivers.
Access the printer's maintenance menu through the printer software on your computer. Select 'Cleaning' or 'Deep Cleaning' to start the process. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the cleaning cycle.
The Canon MultiPASS MP700 printer supports various paper types including plain paper, glossy photo paper, matte photo paper, and envelopes. Refer to the user manual for specific paper weight and size compatibility.
Open the printer cover to access the ink cartridges. Wait for the cartridge holder to move to the replacement position. Remove the old cartridges and insert the new ones, ensuring they click into place. Close the printer cover after installation.
Turn off the printer and carefully remove any jammed paper. Check both the input and output trays as well as the rear panel. Once cleared, turn the printer back on and try printing again.
Open the Canon scanning software on your computer. Place the document face down on the scanner glass. Select 'Scan' in the software and follow the instructions to complete the scanning process.
The Canon MultiPASS MP700 printer does not support automatic duplex printing. To print double-sided, manually flip the pages and reinsert them into the printer to print on the other side.
To perform a factory reset, turn off the printer and unplug it. Press and hold the 'Resume' button while plugging the printer back in and turning it on. Release the button after the printer starts.
Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink. Run a nozzle check and cleaning cycle from the maintenance menu. If the problem persists, check for driver updates or reinstall the drivers.
