To turn on the Candy PC PVC 400 N Hob, locate the power button on the control panel. Press and hold it for 2-3 seconds until the display lights up.
Ensure that the hob is plugged in and the power supply is working. Check if the cookware is induction-compatible and properly centered on the cooking zone.
Press the lock button on the control panel for a few seconds until the lock indicator appears on the display. This will disable the controls.
Use a soft damp cloth and a mild cleaning solution to wipe the surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the glass.
The buzzing noise is normal and is caused by the electromagnetic field. It is most noticeable when using higher power levels or lightweight cookware.
To reset the hob, turn it off and unplug it from the power socket for at least 5 minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on to see if the issue is resolved.
Ensure your hands are dry and clean. If the controls are still unresponsive, try resetting the hob and clean the control panel to remove any debris.
The Candy PC PVC 400 N Hob is designed for induction-compatible cookware. Check for a magnet-friendly symbol or use a magnet to verify compatibility.
Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons on the control panel to increase or decrease the temperature settings for the selected cooking zone.
