To adjust the focus, first close your right eye and use the center focus wheel to focus on an object with your left eye. Then, close your left eye and adjust the right eyepiece (diopter) until the object is in focus.
If your binoculars are foggy, it's likely due to condensation. Allow them to dry in a warm, dry place. Avoid wiping the lenses while they're foggy to prevent scratching.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth or a lens cleaning pen. Gently wipe the lenses in a circular motion, avoiding excessive pressure. For stubborn dirt, use a drop of lens cleaning solution.
Store the binoculars in a cool, dry place, preferably in their case. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent damage.
If you see double images, the binoculars may be out of alignment. This usually requires professional servicing. Contact Bushnell customer service for assistance.
The Bushnell BN1025B is not waterproof, so it is advisable to avoid using it in heavy rain. Consider using a protective cover in wet conditions.
To adjust the interpupillary distance, hold the binoculars up to your eyes and move the barrels closer together or farther apart until you see a single, clear image.
Ensure that the focus and diopter settings are correctly adjusted for your eyes. Check that the lenses are clean and free of obstructions.
Make sure the focus wheel and diopter are functioning smoothly. Check for any debris or damage to the lenses. If problems persist, professional servicing may be required.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lenses after each use and checking for any signs of wear or damage. A thorough inspection and cleaning every few months is advisable.
