Bostitch BCF28WWB Instruction Manual

To load nails, first ensure the tool is powered off. Slide the magazine latch to open the magazine, insert the nail strip with the points facing downward, and slide the magazine closed until it locks into place.
Disconnect the battery, open the magazine, and remove any jammed nails. Check for obstructions in the nose piece and clear them. Reassemble the tool before use.
Use the depth adjustment wheel located near the trigger. Turn it to increase or decrease the depth of drive, ensuring nails are driven to the desired depth.
Check the battery charge and ensure it is properly seated. Verify that the magazine is loaded with nails and that no jams are present. Additionally, ensure the trigger lock is not engaged.
Regularly clean the tool, especially the nose and magazine areas. Lubricate moving parts with a few drops of pneumatic tool oil, and check for any worn or damaged components.
Press the battery release buttons on both sides of the tool to remove the old battery. Insert the fully charged battery until it clicks into place, ensuring proper alignment.
It is recommended to use Bostitch brand nails for optimal performance and to prevent jams or misfires. Ensure the nails match the size and type specified in the user manual.
Always wear safety glasses and ear protection. Keep hands away from the nail discharge area and never point the tool at yourself or others. Use the trigger lock when not in use.
Remove the battery and store it separately. Keep the tool in a clean, dry environment, preferably in its carrying case, to protect it from dust and moisture.
Check for proper nail size and type. Inspect the battery charge and ensure it is fully charged. Clean the tool to remove any debris that might obstruct the firing mechanism.
