To turn on the Beldray EH0949 heater, plug it into a power outlet and press the power button located on the top of the unit. The LED indicator will light up to show the heater is on.
Ensure that the heater is plugged in and the power switch is on. Check the thermostat setting and adjust it as needed. If it still does not produce heat, inspect the power cable for any damage.
Unplug the heater and let it cool down completely. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For any dust accumulated in the vents, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment.
It is generally not recommended to leave any portable heater unattended or on overnight. Use the timer function if available, and ensure the heater is placed away from flammable materials.
The tip-over switch is a safety feature that automatically shuts off the heater if it is accidentally knocked over, preventing fire hazards.
Use the temperature control knob or buttons on the heater to set your desired temperature. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on adjusting specific temperature settings.
Some noise is normal as the ceramic PTC element heats up. However, if you hear unusual sounds, ensure the heater is on a stable surface and check for any loose parts.
Regularly clean the exterior and air vents to prevent dust build-up. Check the power cord and plug for any signs of wear or damage. Store the heater in a cool, dry place when not in use.
The heater has an overheat protection feature that will turn it off automatically. Allow it to cool down before using again. Ensure the vents are not blocked and the heater is not placed too close to walls or furniture.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with the heater as it may overheat and cause a fire hazard. Plug the heater directly into a wall outlet.
