To fill the steamer with water, first ensure it is unplugged and cooled down. Open the water tank cap, use the provided measuring cup to pour water into the tank, and securely close the cap.
If the steamer is not producing steam, check if the water tank is empty and refill if necessary. Ensure the unit is plugged in and turned on. If the problem persists, descale the steamer to remove mineral buildup.
To clean the steamer, unplug it and allow it to cool. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. For descaling, mix equal parts of water and white vinegar, fill the tank, and let it steam until the tank is empty. Rinse with clean water afterward.
While tap water can be used, it is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water to minimize mineral buildup and extend the life of the steamer.
Allow the steamer to cool completely and empty the water tank before storing. Store it in a dry, cool place with the power cord wrapped neatly around the base.
For stubborn wrinkles, hold the steamer close to the fabric and apply steam directly while gently pulling the fabric taut. Move the steamer slowly over the area for better results.
Ensure the water tank cap is securely closed and that the steamer is held upright during use. If leaking persists, check for any cracks in the tank or cap and contact customer support if needed.
Descale the steamer every 3 months or more frequently if you notice any decrease in steam output or live in an area with hard water.
The Beldray steamer is safe for most fabrics, but always check the garment's care label. Avoid using on leather, suede, and other moisture-sensitive fabrics.
For delicate fabrics, use the steamer on the lowest setting and maintain a safe distance to avoid overheating. Test on a small inconspicuous area first.
