To charge the Beldray BEL0747, place the iron on its base unit. Ensure the base is plugged into a power outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate, showing that the iron is charging.
To switch between cordless and corded mode, simply detach the iron from its base for cordless operation. For corded use, keep the iron on its base while ironing.
If the iron is not heating up, check if it is properly connected to the base and the base is plugged in. Ensure the temperature control is set to the desired level. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
To clean the soleplate, ensure the iron is unplugged and cool. Use a damp cloth with mild detergent to wipe the soleplate. Avoid using abrasive materials that can scratch the surface.
It is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water to prevent scale build-up in the steam reservoir. If using tap water, ensure it is not hard water to avoid potential issues.
When storing the iron, ensure it is completely cool and empty the water reservoir. Store the iron in an upright position on its base or in a safe, dry place to prevent damage.
To prevent water leakage, do not overfill the reservoir. Ensure the iron is kept in an upright position when not in use and avoid tilting it excessively during ironing.
If the steam function is not working, check that the water reservoir has enough water and the steam control is turned on. If necessary, clean the steam vents to remove any blockages.
Descale the iron every few months, depending on usage and water hardness. Use a descaling solution or vinegar to clean the reservoir and steam vents, following the manufacturer's instructions.
For safety reasons, unplug the iron when not in use. This prevents accidental operation and reduces the risk of electrical hazards.
