To remove the top cover, gently pull the cover upwards from the rear of the case. It's held in place by clips that will release with a little force. Ensure you do this carefully to avoid damaging the clips.
No tools are required to replace the front panel. It is attached with a clip system that allows it to be pulled off and snapped back into place easily.
Yes, additional fans can be installed. For optimal airflow, install intake fans at the front and bottom, and exhaust fans at the rear and top. This creates a front-to-back airflow pattern.
First, ensure all connections are secure. Check the LED controller and the power supply connection. If the issue persists, test the LEDs with another compatible controller to determine if the issue is with the LEDs or the controller.
Use the provided cable management channels and Velcro ties. Route cables through the rear side of the case and ensure they are tightly bound to prevent obstruction of airflow.
Regularly clean the dust filters located on the front, bottom, and top to ensure good airflow. Check all fans for dust buildup and clean them as necessary. Ensure all screws and fittings are tight and secure.
Ensure fans are securely mounted to reduce vibration. Use the built-in fan controller to adjust fan speeds. Consider upgrading to quieter fans if noise persists.
The Dark Base 900 supports GPUs up to 323mm in length with the HDD cage installed, and up to 472mm without it.
Use high-quality thermal paste and ensure good contact between heatsinks and components. Optimize fan placement for effective airflow, and consider using liquid cooling for high-performance components.
Ensure all internal components are securely fastened. Remove or securely fasten any loose parts, such as HDD cages, to prevent damage during transport. Use the original packaging if possible for added protection.
