To reset the Baxi 80 HE Plus Combi boiler, press the reset button on the control panel and hold it for approximately 5 seconds until the boiler restarts.
Check if the gas supply is turned on, the boiler is set to the correct mode, and the water pressure is sufficient. If the problem persists, consult a qualified technician.
Use the temperature control knob on the front panel of the boiler to adjust the hot water temperature to your preference.
Common reasons for pressure loss include leaks in the system, air trapped in radiators, or a faulty pressure relief valve. Inspect these components and bleed the radiators if necessary.
Regular maintenance includes annual servicing by a qualified engineer, checking and cleaning the heat exchanger, and ensuring all components are functioning correctly.
Turn off the heating, use a radiator key to open the bleed valve, and release air until water starts to escape, then close the valve.
Noises may indicate air in the system, a faulty pump, or limescale buildup. Bleed the radiators and consult a professional if the issue continues.
The water pressure gauge is located on the front of the boiler. Ensure the pressure is between 1 and 2 bar when the system is cold.
Occasional water release is normal, but constant discharge could indicate a problem with the valve or excessive system pressure. Consult an engineer if frequent.
Installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
