To reset the boiler, locate the reset button on the control panel. Press and hold the button for a few seconds until the reset process is initiated. The boiler should restart and operate normally if the issue is resolved.
Check if the boiler is displaying any error codes. Ensure the thermostat is set to the desired temperature and that the water pressure is within the recommended range (1.0-2.0 bar). If the issue persists, consult the manual or contact a qualified technician.
To increase the water pressure, locate the filling loop (usually a silver flexible hose) and open the valves slowly until the pressure gauge reads between 1.0 and 2.0 bar. Close the valves after reaching the desired pressure.
Regular maintenance includes checking the pressure gauge, ensuring there are no leaks, and bleeding radiators to remove trapped air. An annual service by a qualified technician is recommended to ensure efficient operation.
Unusual noises can be caused by air in the system, low water pressure, or limescale build-up. Bleed the radiators, check the pressure, and consider using a descaler. If noises persist, contact a professional.
Turn off the heating system and wait for the radiators to cool. Use a radiator key to open the bleed valve, releasing trapped air until water begins to flow steadily. Close the valve and check system pressure.
The E119 error code indicates low water pressure. Check the pressure gauge and, if necessary, repressurize the system using the filling loop until the pressure reaches the recommended level.
The boiler requires electricity to operate, so it will not function during a power outage. Consider alternative heating solutions or consult an electrician about backup power options.
Turn off the boiler and water supply immediately. Identify the source of the leak, if possible, and contact a qualified heating engineer to inspect and repair the issue.
Ensure regular maintenance, use a programmable thermostat, insulate pipes, and set the boiler to an optimal temperature. Consider upgrading to a more efficient model if your current boiler is old.
