To reset your Baxi 130 HE Combi boiler, locate the reset button on the control panel. Press and hold the button for a few seconds until the reset indicator light turns off. Release the button, and the boiler should restart.
First, check if the boiler is receiving power and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure that the pressure gauge reads between 1 and 2 bar. If these are correct, try resetting the boiler. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.
Noises can be caused by air trapped in the system, low water pressure, or a faulty pump. Bleed the radiators to remove air, check and adjust the pressure, and if necessary, have a technician inspect the pump.
It is recommended to service your Baxi 130 HE Combi boiler annually. Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation and prolongs the life of the boiler.
E119 indicates low water pressure in the system. Check the pressure gauge and top up the system via the filling loop if necessary. Ensure the pressure is between 1 and 2 bar.
Locate the filling loop (usually a silver flexible hose) and open the valves to allow water into the system. Monitor the pressure gauge and close the valves once it reaches 1 to 2 bar.
Frequent shutdowns can be caused by low water pressure, thermostat issues, or a blocked flue. Check the pressure, ensure the thermostat is working, and inspect the flue for obstructions. If the issue continues, consult a technician.
Turn off the heating system and use a radiator key to open the bleed valve on the radiator. Allow air to escape until water starts to flow, then close the valve. Check the system pressure afterward.
Common causes include leaks in the system, recent bleeding of radiators, or a faulty pressure relief valve. Inspect the system for visible leaks and ensure all valves are closed tightly.
A slight loss of pressure over time can be normal, but frequent pressure drops may indicate a leak or other issue. Regularly monitor pressure levels and consult a professional if significant drops occur.
