To reset the digital keypad, open the safe using the key or existing code. Press the reset button on the inside of the door, then enter a new code followed by the "#" button to confirm.
If you forget your combination code, use the backup keys to open the safe and reset the code using the reset button inside the door.
To change the batteries, open the safe and locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door. Remove the old batteries and replace them with new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
If the keypad is not responding, check if the batteries need replacing. Ensure they are inserted correctly. If the issue persists, inspect the battery contacts for corrosion or damage.
To install the safe, select a secure location and use the pre-drilled holes to bolt it down. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for anchoring the safe to a floor or wall for optimal security.
Regularly check and replace the batteries, keep the keypad clean, and lubricate the locking bolts with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
If the door is jammed, ensure nothing is obstructing the locking bolts. Try gently tapping the door while turning the handle. If the issue persists, contact Barska customer support for assistance.
The Barska AX13646 Safe is not designed for outdoor use. Exposure to elements can damage the electronic components and compromise security. Use it indoors in a dry environment.

Ensure your finger is clean and dry. If the scanner still doesn't recognize it, try reprogramming the fingerprint. Clean the scanner surface with a soft, dry cloth.
