To change the batteries in the Barska AX13632 Safe, locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe's door. Open the compartment and replace the old batteries with four new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring the correct polarity.
If you forget the passcode, use the backup keys provided with the safe to open it. Once opened, reset the passcode by following the instructions in the user manual.
To reset the passcode, open the safe using the existing code or the backup key. Press the reset button located on the inside of the door, enter the new code using the keypad, and confirm it by pressing the 'Enter' button.
Continuous beeping usually indicates low battery power or an incorrect code entry. Check and replace the batteries if needed, and ensure the code is entered correctly.
To install the Barska AX13632 Safe, choose a secure location, preferably against a wall or in a closet. Use the pre-drilled holes to anchor the safe with bolts (included) for added security.
Regularly check the battery levels and replace them every 6-12 months or when low. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and ensure the lock mechanism is free of dust and debris.
It is not recommended to use rechargeable batteries as they may not provide consistent voltage. Use alkaline batteries for optimal performance.
Enhance security by bolting the safe to a solid surface, using a complex passcode, and regularly updating the code. Consider placing the safe in a less visible location.
If the electronic lock fails, use the backup key to open the safe. Check the batteries and replace them if necessary. Contact Barska customer support if the problem persists.
To set up the fingerprint scanner, open the safe and press the enroll button. Place your finger on the scanner multiple times until the safe beeps, indicating successful registration.
