To reset the combination code, open the safe using the existing code, press the reset button located inside the door, enter the new code, and confirm it by pressing the 'Enter' button.
If you forget the access code, use the override key provided with the safe to gain access. Once opened, you can reset the code as needed.
To replace the batteries, open the safe, locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door, remove the old batteries, and insert new AA batteries.
Regularly clean and lubricate the locking mechanism with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and dirt.
To mount the safe, use the pre-drilled holes at the back or bottom of the safe. Secure it with bolts that are appropriate for the wall or floor material, ensuring that it is mounted securely.
Check the batteries to ensure they are not depleted. If the batteries are fine, try re-entering the code slowly. If issues persist, use the override key and contact Barska customer support for further assistance.
It is not recommended to use the safe in extremely humid environments as it may affect the electronic components. Consider using a dehumidifier or silica gel packs inside the safe to reduce moisture.
To ensure longevity, regularly clean the exterior and interior, replace batteries annually, and conduct routine checks of the locking mechanism. Store in a dry, stable environment away from direct sunlight.
The Barska AX12432 safe does not support changing the code entry method. It only allows for a reset of the combination code. Refer to the user manual for instructions on code reset.
First, check the battery power and replace if necessary. If the keypad is still unresponsive, ensure there is no physical damage or obstruction. If problems persist, contact Barska customer service for support.
