To assemble the ice shaver, attach the ice chamber to the base, ensuring it clicks into place. Insert the shaving blade, and secure it with the locking mechanism. Finally, place the lid on top, aligning it with the chamber.
To clean the ice shaver, unplug it and disassemble all removable parts. Wash the ice chamber, shaving blade, and lid with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the base with a damp cloth.
Ensure the ice shaver is plugged into a functioning outlet. Check the power cord for damage. Make sure all parts are correctly assembled and the lid is securely in place, as the safety feature prevents operation if not properly assembled.
To prevent jamming, make sure the ice cubes are not too large or irregularly shaped. Use smaller, uniform ice cubes, and do not overload the ice chamber. If jamming occurs, turn off the machine, clear the chamber, and resume operation.
For optimal performance, use standard ice cubes made from your freezer's ice tray. Avoid using crushed ice as it may not shave properly and can cause jams.
The shaving blade should be inspected regularly for dullness or damage. Depending on usage frequency, sharpen or replace it every 6-12 months to ensure efficient ice shaving.
Uneven or coarse shavings may be due to a dull blade. Check the blade and sharpen or replace it if necessary. Additionally, ensure the ice chamber is not overfilled and the ice is uniformly shaped.
It is not recommended to add syrups or flavorings directly into the ice shaver, as they can stick to parts and cause operational issues. Shave plain ice and add flavors afterward.
Unusual noises may indicate a loose part or jammed ice. Turn off the machine, unplug it, and inspect for any obstructions or loose components. Reassemble securely before retrying.
For best performance and longevity, avoid continuous operation for more than 5 minutes. Allow the motor to cool down for a few minutes between uses to prevent overheating.
